Rooftop Terrace Design · Las Vegas
From Summerlin to Lake Las Vegas
Berlin-based manufactory delivering rooftop terrace concepts to Las Vegas's most discerning master-planned-community estates and Henderson hillside villas, with plant design, outdoor kitchens and extreme-heat-rated wellness architecture under one curatorial hand.

Why Las Vegas is different
Mojave Desert, master-planned-community culture, and the Henderson hillside tradition
Las Vegas and Henderson form one of the largest US master-planned-community markets. Summerlin (Howard Hughes legacy) anchors the original master-planned community; MacDonald Highlands and The Ridges represent the Henderson hillside HNWI belt; Anthem Country Club, Spanish Trail and Red Rock Country Club form the golf-club community network; Lake Las Vegas extends the lifestyle to waterfront. Climate is arid Mojave Desert – extreme heat above 45°C, intense UV, dust storms, monsoon thunderstorms July–September.
We work in this tension daily: with AIA Nevada-licensed architects and structural engineers, with City of Las Vegas, City of Henderson, Clark County and master-planned-community ARC consultants, and with the lifestyle expectations of Las Vegas clients between Summerlin estates, MacDonald Highlands and The Ridges hillside villas, Anthem Country Club, Spanish Trail, Queensridge and Red Rock golf-club estates, Lake Las Vegas waterfront, plus Seven Hills southern Henderson properties. Our role is the plant and outdoor lifestyle layer – ecological substrate, Mojave Desert curation, and the wellness elements (sunset terrace, outdoor kitchen, pool deck, shaded ramada) that turn a Las Vegas rooftop into a year-round sanctuary.

Our Las Vegas approach
Curated plants, ecological substrate, lifestyle integration
- Symbiosis methodology – mycorrhizal partnerships, effective microorganisms and humus building replace chemical fertilisation under extreme Mojave heat and low humidity.
- Mojave Desert palette – structural specimens (Joshua tree, palo verde, mesquite, ironwood, Mexican fan palm), Mojave evergreens (creosote bush, brittlebush, jojoba, Texas sage), flowering accents (red yucca, desert marigold, lantana), drought-tolerant succulents.
- Wellness architecture – sunset terrace, outdoor kitchen, pool deck and shaded ramada integration with Red Rock, Lake Las Vegas or Strip skyline framing.
- Extreme-heat-aware execution – AIA Nevada architects and structural engineers, City permitting, master-planned-community ARC review, extreme-heat-rated planters and irrigation.

How a Las Vegas project unfolds
From first conversation to handover
- 01
Understanding before drawing
Site visit (or detailed remote survey for first conversations from Berlin), discussion of the people and rhythm using the terrace, early constraint mapping (City, County, master-planned ARC, extreme heat, structure).
- 02
Concept and curation
A small set of plant compositions, material moodboards, wellness element placement. Always optionality.
- 03
Engineering and approvals
Load calculations with Nevada-licensed structural engineer, City of Las Vegas / Henderson / Clark County permitting, master-planned-community ARC review.
- 04
Installation and handover
Our team installs on site over one to several weeks, ideally outside June–September extreme heat. Plants are sourced from Mojave Desert nurseries and pre-conditioned for the Las Vegas climate. After handover we offer ongoing care subscriptions following the same symbiosis methodology.

- Yes. Most of our Las Vegas work is Summerlin, MacDonald Highlands, The Ridges, Anthem Country Club, Lake Las Vegas, Spanish Trail and Queensridge.
- How do you handle 45°C+ summer heat?
- With Mojave Desert native plant material, drip irrigation engineered for extreme heat, and shaded ramada structures sized for sustained 115°F-plus conditions.
- How long does a typical Las Vegas project take?
- Between four and twelve months from first conversation to handover. Larger MacDonald Highlands or Lake Las Vegas estates often need eight to fourteen months.
