Rooftop Terrace Design · Saint-Tropez
From Les Parcs to Pampelonne
Berlin-based manufactory delivering rooftop terrace concepts to Saint-Tropez's most discerning villas, beachfront residences and Citadelle penthouses, with plant design, outdoor kitchens and wellness architecture under one curatorial hand.

Why Saint-Tropez is different
Provençal Mediterranean, pine umbrella, and Pampelonne sand
Saint-Tropez rooftops sit in the most distinctive corner of the Côte d'Azur – a former fishing village protected by umbrella pines and Provençal hills. Very dry hot summers, mild winters, intense UV, salt-laden air from the Bay, frequent mistral events sweeping across the peninsula. The protected historic Citadelle and harbour fall under ABF consent.
We work in this tension daily: with French architects, structural engineers and ABF consultants, and with the lifestyle expectations of clients between Les Parcs villas, Pampelonne beachfront residences and Ramatuelle hillside estates. Our role is the plant and outdoor lifestyle layer – ecological substrate, Provençal-Mediterranean curation, and the wellness elements (pool deck, outdoor kitchen, spa) that turn a Saint-Tropez rooftop into a year-round sanctuary.

Our Saint-Tropez approach
Curated plants, ecological substrate, lifestyle integration
- Symbiosis methodology – mycorrhizal partnerships, effective microorganisms and humus building replace chemical fertilisation under the Provençal climate.
- Provençal-Mediterranean palette – evergreen structure (olive, citrus, holm oak, Italian cypress, fig), Provençal aromatics (lavender, rosemary, thyme, sage, savory), sculptural specimens (Phoenix, agave, bougainvillea, oleander).
- Wellness architecture – pool deck, spa and outdoor kitchen integration with pine-shaded courtyards and microclimate cooling.
- Heritage-aware execution – French architects and structural engineers, ABF consultation in Citadelle and harbour zones, salt- and mistral-resilient material specification.
Areas we serve
Across Saint-Tropez and the peninsula
Most of our Saint-Tropez work is concentrated in Les Parcs villas, Pampelonne beachfront residences and Ramatuelle hillside estates. We also handle select hospitality projects.
How a Saint-Tropez project unfolds
From first conversation to handover
- 01
Understanding before drawing
Site visit (or detailed remote survey for first conversations from Berlin), discussion of the people and rhythm using the terrace, early constraint mapping (sun path, salt exposure, mistral, ABF).
- 02
Concept and curation
A small set of plant compositions, material moodboards, wellness element placement. Always optionality.
- 03
Engineering and consent
Load calculations with structural engineer, ABF consultation in protected zones, coordination with the building's architect and interior designer.
- 04
Installation and handover
Our team installs on site over one to several weeks. Plants are sourced from Riviera and Italian nurseries and pre-conditioned for the climate. After handover we offer ongoing care subscriptions following the same symbiosis methodology.
Frequently asked
What clients usually want to know first
- Do you work on rooftop terrace projects in Saint-Tropez?
- Yes. Most of our Saint-Tropez work is Les Parcs villa rooftops, Pampelonne beachfront residences, La Capilla and Ramatuelle hillside estates, and Citadelle penthouses overlooking the harbour.
- How do you handle the Provençal climate?
- With a drought-adapted Mediterranean palette, mistral-resilient material specification, salt-tolerant species selection and irrigation engineered for very dry summers.
- How long does a typical Saint-Tropez project take?
- Between three and ten months from first conversation to handover. Larger Les Parcs villas with wellness architecture often need six to twelve months of planning.
